An unusual commission, this one. “Make Your Shopping Count” is a new campaign by support-your-local-independent-shop group OSCO. Their “Pledge 70” badges are designed to raise awareness of their campaign to get people to try and spend at least 70% of their weekly shop money in independent, high-street shops.
They asked me to design some point-of-sale boxes for the badges, and this is the result. I designed a cut-and-glue together box that can be printed on a single sheet of A4 and assembled easily. That’s a photo of the prototype at left (and yes, I know there’s an un-bolded “S” in the middle there!) The resulting box will be filled with badges and should be appearing on the high street in Oswestry fairly soon!
A fun little job, and a bit out of the usual for me.
