I want to hold a “Drink & Draw” session in Oswestry sometime early next month. Drink & Draw – for all of you who can’t guess – is basically a bunch of people meeting up in a pub for a few drinks, a bit of drawing and some chit-chat. They’re free, informal, open sessions, and loads of art groups run them in cities and towns all over the UK and the world. It’s a great chance to talk, drink and draw all at the same time – perfect!
The Ironworks here in Oswestry seemed a perfect venue, and I wanted to inquire if it was okay to meet up there on a Thursday night in March, but the place is closed for the next two weeks due to “unforseen circumstances”, and all events have been relocated. I’ll try and find out what the problem was, and whether we can meet there on a Thursday sometime soon. When I get venue and date sorted I’ll cross-post on the Inside Out blog, too.
