Studio a1 - September, 2010
Just got some pictures of studio a1 from Diana. I won’t post them all here, now, but I’ll put them up on Flickr shortly. They make the place look like a real gallery! The photos give you some idea of the range of works we’ve got in the room – my own neo-surrealist daubs, Jude Greaves’ stone sculpture in the foreground, Jim Heath’s atmospheric painting, Mo and Monika’s water combo on the back wall, and a great range of prints and smaller works in the rest of the gallery space.
Artists on exhibition at the moment are: Jas Davidson, John Swogger, Diana Baur, Jim Heath, Sandy Tickle, Nicola Stone, Frank Triggs, Jude Greaves, Monika Kempster, Mo Vyse, Ann Spence, June McHenry, David Brightmore, Joan Santana, Sue Mann, Chris Bradshaw and Chrissie Smith.
It all looks great – and we’ll be shifting the exhibition around regularly, with some works going off to The Hand and The West Arms. Diana and I will also be working on finding even more places for us to exhibit over the next couple of months. Watch this (or that) space!
