Thanks to everyone who came by Studio a1 yesterday and helped make our initial launch such a success. Thanks to Jan for the finishing-touch flowers, to Rob and everyone who helped paint and move furniture, and to all the artists who signed up as members and came with art to hang. The studio looks great – and more than that, we are now brimming over with ideas about how else to use the space. It will be great to get an artists’ hub up and running in Oswestry, and to bring together – and to make the most of – all our individual projects and directions.
Anyone who’s curious about the studio and would like to come and see what it’s like, we’re open to the public Wednesdays 10am-4pm in September, and then Wednesdays and Saturdays 10am-4pm from October onwards. Check the noticeboard in the back of the studio for other events, workshops and things going on.
