Diana and I have been working hard this morning, getting our latest art venture “Studio a1” into shape. It’s a shared space for local artists – exhibition, studio, teaching, skill-sharing, workshops, etc. We’ll be open to the public two days a week – currently Wednesdays and Saturdays, market days in Oswestry – and will have a current work show hanging in the gallery year-round. The rest of the time it will be available for those artists who are members of the studio to use as a meeting, workshop and work space. This morning Diana and I cleared out the last of the old furniture from the studio, patched the walls and put a first coast on the feature walls. Tomorrow we’ll put up the first coats of white paint…
